Paid challenges

Your people. Your challenge. Your money.

Set a price, share one link and bring your team, clients or community. Everyone who joins pays you, and your earnings land in your bank when the challenge starts.

Start on Free. Free challenges stay free to join.

  • 10% fee on Free, 5% on Pro
  • Secure checkout by Stripe
  • Money held until the end
  • Payouts in 34 countries

How it works

From your idea to your bank in four steps.

  1. Step 1

    Set a price

Choose $5 to $500 for a public or invite-only challenge of your own.

  2. Step 2

    Bring your people

Send the link to your team, clients or followers. Everyone sees the price before they join.

  3. Step 3

    They pay to join

They pay on a secure checkout powered by Stripe and go straight into your challenge.

  4. Step 4

    You get paid

When the challenge starts, your earnings go to your bank account.

What your people get

Your challenge runs in the MyGritWall app, built to keep a group showing up every day.

A real start line

A countdown to day one, and the group gathering as people join.

Daily tasks, check-ins and proof

A reminder, a tap to check in and a photo as proof keep everyone on track.

A live leaderboard and cheers

Everyone sees the group move. Buddies cheer each other on, and posts keep the group talking.

A finish they will share

A full ring, a recap to share and a certificate for everyone who completes it.

You bring the people. We bring the challenge.

Questions

Anyone with a challenge of their own that is public or invite only, on Free or Pro. Challenges of organizations and communities cannot be paid yet.

The whole challenge in the MyGritWall app: daily tasks and check-ins, proof photos, reminders, a live leaderboard, posts and cheers, and a recap and certificate when they finish.

Paying happens on the web. The app shows the price and says the challenge is joined on the web.

No. Joining a free challenge stays free, and people never pay MyGritWall for anything else.

On Free a public challenge holds 30 people and an invite-only one 10, you included. Pro has no cap.

Any price from $5 to $500 per person. You can change it until the first person pays; after that it is locked.

A share of each payment: 10% on Free or 5% on Pro, plus card processing of about 2.9% + $0.30 per payment. You see the split before you publish.

Your people do. Tax is added on top of your price at checkout where it applies, so your price and your earnings never include tax.

You connect a Stripe payout account once. Money is held until the challenge ends, then your share of every payment goes to your bank. Payments made after the start are paid out once they settle.

Until the start they get a refund (minus the card processing fee, or in full within 14 days where the law gives them that right) and leave the challenge; after the start there are no refunds. If you cancel the challenge, everyone who paid is refunded in full automatically, and if you remove someone who paid, they are refunded in full. A refund after your payout, and the processing fee kept on a refund, come out of your share.

Payouts work in 34 countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, and United States.

Pro lowers the platform fee to 5% for payments from then on and lifts the participant cap. On Free a public challenge holds 30 people and an invite-only one 10, you included.
